Russian Spam is Driving me Mad

Is anybody else getting large amounts of viewing figures/stats on their blogs from Russian sites that vary from those of a pornographic nature to furniture shops? I am sick of it and have looked into the issue extensively on Google and the solution seems to be that nothing can be done about it. Does anybody have any ideas as to how to deal with this unwanted spike in my stats?

    I'm getting nothing from Russia, but quite a few from China and Ukraine. I don't know how to find out whether they're genuine or not.

    Hi Robert, I know that my stats are not genuine because of the weblinks that are showing up in my stats. These are Russian tourism sites, porn sites, furniture sites and health food sites. Can you see what weblinks are being referred on to your site?
